The Friends of the Central Library (FOCL) in Syracuse, NY is seeking a part-time Office Coordinator (15-20 hours per week, variable) to support the Rosamond Gifford Lecture Series and other activities to benefit the Onondaga County Public Library system. The Office Coordinator reports to the Executive Director.

Responsibilities and Duties
The Office Coordinator: maintains program and financial records; processes invoices and check deposits; interacts with subscribers, sponsors, advertisers, and board members; helps coordinate events; handles mailing lists and correspondence; maintains the donor database and generates reports; and updates website and social media posts.

Qualifications and Skills
3-5 years administrative experience in a similar role; minimum 2-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; organized with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and multi-task; knowledge of basic bookkeeping and office management practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; donor database experience a plus; must have ability to prioritize and work independently; social media and website management experience; photography and design skills are a plus.
