Friends of the Central Library welcomes Francine Prose to Syracuse on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 7:30pm.

Francine Prose is an American writer who was born in Brooklyn. She is the author of many bestselling books of fiction including “A Changed Man” and “Blue Angel” which was a National Book Award finalist and the non-fiction New York Times bestseller “Reading Like a Writer”. “Household Saints” was adapted for a movie and “The Glorious Ones” was adapted into a musical that ran in NYC in 2007. Prose is president of PEN American Center and lives in NYC. Her most recent novel is “Lovers at the Chameleon Club, Paris 1932.”
