Event Details

Kate DiCamillo is joining FOCL as our first Family Series Lecturer. Kate has written seven novels and dozens of children’s picture books. Her second novel, The Tale of Despereaux won a Newbery Medal in 2004. Two of her novels, Because of Winn Dixie and The Tale of Despereaux were adapted into major motion pictures. We are thrilled to welcome her for our first Family Series.She writes for audiences of all ages, but the event will be geared toward children.

Registration is necessary and limited. Registration will be available on the FOCL website, Facebook, and Twitter on March 1st. This event is free, but donations to FOCL are appreciated.
